text-align: left;">This morning I got up at 5:30 to watch the sunrise. When I got up it was already light outside, by the time I got out past the houses the sun was up as you see it below. Since I wanted to see the whole sunrise I was a bit disappointed. The time I love most to see is when the sun is almost out but not quite, so I missed that. Plus, the batteries in the camera were pretty much dead when I turned it on, that way I only got three pictures... Still it was a really pretty morning.

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j2t-ghruojY/Thg6s2dCLaI/AAAAAAAAAY0/yCuyzyAdCnU/s1600/Sunrise+2+.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Yes indeed, it's true. Some were rather worried on finding out... but so far I haven't done anything dreadful that I can think of. It happened on the 13th of this month and if you had asked me what it feels like to become an "adult," I would have answered that it feels rather normal... that's all. :)

On the 21st, me, my Dad, Jonny and about 25 other guys went fishing in a nearby lake. At two, me and Jonny went over to the church where there were a bunch of other guys waiting for my Dad to get back from picking up more guys from two different towns (one about 45 minutes away). It took a while so we just hung out until he got back. When he finally did get back, the first group of people set off in the van to sort out where exactly we would fish and to set up some fishing poles for the people who couldn't do it for themselves. Finally the whole group was safely at the lake and fishing. Not a lot of fish were caught for how many people were fishing, but it was fun nonetheless. One thing that we all thought funny was that the biggest fish caught was caught by the youngest fisherman! People get sick of the place they are at, with the things that go on around them, and tend to think that somehow God can't and isn't working in their lives through the hard stuff they are going through. Like it's all for nothing. Well, I abridged this extremely (and probably butchered it) 'cause it didn't seem to come out right... But the study really spoke to me on several levels. It was very appropriate to where I was at.

Moving on then! Yesterday among other things, I went on a Mo-ped ride with my Dad. We headed out to some fishing lakes to see what the price would be to fish there with some of the boys from church. It had been really nice most of the day and it just so happened that it got rather more cloudy when we set off... and was colder too. I happened to be only wearing a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie, but somehow I didn't get too cold. Anyway, on the way back the sun came out as we were passing these incredibly green fields of I don't know what. The sun shone off that green like you wouldn't believe! It reminded me why that shade of green is my favorite! I really wish I could have taken a picture... a few minutes later we were taking a turn back onto a dirt road, and I came right past this dead dog. The fact that it was dead wasn't the interesting part however, it was the way it had decayed. I don't believe it had to do with a morbid curiosity but more marveling at its design. You see, it looked like one of those programs where you can see the different systems of a certain animal in 3D, and it kind of layers them (muscles, skeleton etc.) Further description might be boring to the reader or looked upon as strange, so here is where I stop. See you later! But now in earnest.... as long as I have time and things to write about I WILL.

How did this come up? Well, I realized how much I can forget from an eventful week just a short time after, and it disconcerted me slightly to know how much information just flies by without stopping to be remembered properly. Maybe its not even certain events but a certain state of mind or something that interests me, and since I don't keep any sort of journal this will record my experiences. So even if no one reads my blog, it will have it's purpose. Don't get me wrong though, It would be nice to have some readers.... :)

I feel as though I'm beginning a new chapter of my life that will continue to be eventful. I will finish school this year, and after that its a mystery waiting to be solved... Well, mostly... cause I'm pretty sure I'm headed toward bible school. YES, very exciting! I feel as if everything is and will be changing for me, not just in scene and events but in mindset and... feeling I guess is the best word...

Alrighty then, lets get to what's been happening around here. Last Saturday a team of four from the bible school in England (lets call them James, Megan, Amanda, and Caroline) arrived in Romania on an undisclosed flight in an undisclosed airport at an undisclosed time... AND YES. They all stayed at my house. They stayed a little more than a week, so since I can't relate it all, let me hit on some of the memorable moments (for me). OK... Harder than I thought (I don't even know where to start!) OK there is only one thing coming to mind... the rat.

On tuesday, in the morning, I did some school while the team and others cleaned out and started to paint a room at the church that would become the nursery. Everybody came back to the house for lunch, and soon after that we all went back to the church to resume work. They had demolished a shed in the back yard of the church, so we started cleaning out the bricks and rubble. And amongst the dirt and bricks a mummified rat was found. Everyone was deeply interested in this rat, (myself being the foremost of these) and the rat was consequently inspected. The work went on however and before long a second mummified rat was found! It was in a much worse condition than the first so it was set by our first rat [I forget his name] and then lost at some later date). But the first rat kept coming up... it was somewhere in the yard all week long, and being found by the dog it lost the majority of its facial features... it was interesting.

OK, way too much about the rat but now that reminds me of some other stuff that happened. Pardon me for being out of order but I'm just telling you these things as they appear in my mind. That said, on Monday we (most of my family and the team) had the great idea of going to the zoo, and since my Dad had stuff to do in the city he could drop us off. The idea failed though, seeing as the zoo was closed. Having nothing else to do we went on into the city, got some doughnuts, and just walked around looking in shop windows and entering them occasionally (actually we stood and ate the doughnuts then walked around...) Anyway, we eventually got back home, and just... chilled. Other stuff happened that I'm not mentioning though, for example James suggested we "burn this town". This by the way is what we named our new band that consisted of Me, James, and Caroline. Which brings me to my last thing to tell you. Not from lack of material but because I'd rather not bore you so much that you never come back...

Our band, ("Burn this town!") covered some songs that I will be posting sometime soon, so check back on my page in the near future to see and hear. (I'll post a link here too when I upload) See ya!

Grants pass Oregon!

Alright, I'm sorry it took so very long for me to write another post. I put off writing anything while we were in Huntsville when we had internet, then we left for CA and I hardly had a chance to check my email much less write a blog post.

So right now me and my family are in Grants Pass Oregon visiting my Grandmother and whoever else we can while we are up here. We got here on Wednesday night and have just been hanging around mostly at my Grandma's house and doing some stuff around town.

Yesterday afternoon we went to see (and feed) some lamas, and then to see some extended family. We went back to the house for a bit then left for church in Applegate. The service was great and we stayed after in the coffee shop and hung out.

This morning we went to the Grants Pass Christian church. My Dad shared a little at both services and did a song. At the first service I played the guitar with him some too. The study was good and we got to meet/see a lot of people. After church we headed on back to the house and had some lunch and that pretty much brings me to where I am now.

Well I hope I can write another post soon... hopefully a little more creative. :D Thanks for reading my blog and suffering my bad writing. Well I'm sitting here at my Aunt and Uncle's house in SC. I got up about an hour ago, checked my internet things and Ate breakfast. The trip over seas went well, most or all our planes were on time and the airline only lost one of our bags which was returned to us the next day. I am very happy to inform you that my shoes (and all the shoes of my family) have been de-yuckafied. Customs was nice enough to do that for us. So now returning from Romania I have no diseases. You can rest assured knowing their biodegradable disinfectant disinfected our shoes properly. We were met at the airport by my Aunt and Uncle and they drove us back to their house. Since then we have just been hanging out and going to Biglots, Goodwill, and Walmart. ;) (Oh and I got to see my uncle at his job [pretty cool!]). Today we get to meet our Uncle's family and hang out with them. Friday morning we leave here and are off to my Aunt's in Florida, then on to Cliff and Rahela! Well I need to give my Dad his computer back, I will keep you updated... I'm pretty much "packed." Its pretty cool there have been quite a few guests at our house and it's been fun seeing them before we leave. All the people at our house right now are Amalia, Brandusa, Laurentiu, and their baby Natanael, Matt and Petra, (they were planning to have their wedding today but it didn't work out because of paperwork problems). Amalia came from Italy for Petra and Matt's wedding, and is also getting some of her own paperwork done so that she can marry Giuseppe (an Italian guy).

Brandusa and Laurentiu got married in November of 2007 and now have a 6 month old baby boy. I had plenty of things to write about, I had plenty of chances to get on here and still I didn't write anything. I'm just lazy... Hmm... is it alright if I talk about what I was thinking of writing last weekend? I guess thats a yes. Alright, Saturday ( 27th of june) started out pretty slowly at our house. Because of the long day before we all slept in a little later than usual. When we all finally got up we had Bible time then did our own things for a bit before leaving for the church building to pick cherries. After picking for a while some other people from our church came to pick some too. They had to leave and we kept picking until our containers were pretty much full. Back to the house with all the goods then the pitting marathon started! We kept pitting and pitting for a pretty long time, and went through quite a lot of cherries but never got through them all. We ended up making syrup out of the rest of them.
      ↑Mom and Sharon pitting away↑

Sunday was pretty normal for us, church in Ciorani (the town we live in) then church in Valenii (a city in the mountains). Church went well at both, in Ciorani I went to the study in Valenii I helped as usual with the kids. On the way back from Valenii church we stopped by a village to drop off a kid that came with us. We also got to see Brendusia and Laurensu with their baby, Natanael. It was fun to see them.

Mom, Brendusia, Laurensu, Nat., & Dad

When we got back home we found the front door once again chewed by our pregnant dog (there was another thunder storm while we were gone).

Unfortunately, it was not the last thunderstorm of the day. She was so muddy that mom and sharon washed her cause she didn't want Hobo to have the puppies in that dirty condition. But Hobo still hasn't had them and its the 5th so I'm thinking she could have them any time. Tomorrow we leave for the beach and won't be back till probably about Saturday and after we get back I will try to write a post. My parents will be back any time so I should get going, we still have to load the van and get things ready. Thanks for reading this far into the post! :) See ya

Wednesday... a little late

Wednesday we went into Bucharest (the capital of Romania) for a doctor checkup. We arrived at the clinic at 9:35 Am and short after went to be checked. They finished with me and Jonny at 10:35 Am. While waiting in the lobby for the rest of our family to get done we heard some screaming in one of the rooms, apparently some kids were getting shots... they came out later with Band-Aids on their arms. We found some amusement in the screaming though... Finally we left at about 1:00 PM the result was: we are fine! After leaving the clinic we headed over to Ikea for lunch. As we walked in the cafeteria I thought I saw someone I knew from Calvary Buc. and couldn't decide if it was them or not. I just stared until they noticed me and sure enough it was them! My parents talked to them for a while about Petra's wedding in July and things pertaining to that. They had to get back to the to the foundation for church and we had do to some shopping and try to get back for part of Wednesday night church too so we left for Carefour then the Metro to get some food and other odds and ends. Diving home it was pretty hot inside our blue tin can on wheels (the van), and we were happy to get out when we reached the Church Building in Ciorani. We got to the church right as Melissa was finishing worship time so it worked out pretty well. I helped Melissa with children's church which for me was holding a toddler that wanted to go to her grandma and trying to entertain her. Well its getting pretty late here so I should be getting to bed. Have a great rest of your weekend guys, and as always thanks for reading!

School, Dogs, and whatnot

Today I got motivated to finish the rest of my school up, and I could see it ending soon if I kick in gear. A lot of you may be done with this year of school already, that may be because you go to public school, are not a missionary... or are way more motivated than me (which is probably the case). Being a missionary usually means (if you do school) losing some days or even weeks of school, so now I'm am just filling in what i didn't finish of this year. I counted it up and this is approximately what I have left: 17 hours of math and 49 hours of science, the rest it done! Thunderstorms have been coming our way the last couple of weeks. Now I don't hate thunderstorms in fact, sometimes I think they are rather cool. Unfortunately our dog does not think they are cool at all, she hates them (and any loud bang for that matter). She goes crazy and has to be tied up. Also she makes a loud racket and when the storm stays for a while the noise drives me crazy, hopefully she will get over it! Today nothing extraordinary happened today, school, Melissa was over helping for part of the day. For lunch Cristi and Dad came over from working on the new outhouse (I think) at the church building. They left after lunch to go back to work and we went back to school. Well thats pretty much all for this post, thanks a lot for reading my blog!!!
